Recently, our Hartsema Group team participated in EQ training from Six Seconds North America. The training included an assessment of our individual EQ profiles which greatly helped us see how we could work better individually and as a team.
When I was a marketing officer with PNC Bank our entire team underwent a week of Myers-Briggs Typology training where we were assessed and typed in one of the 16 categories. Over the years I've periodically validated my trype with subsequent tests and have found it incredibly helpful in managing interpersonal relations with colleagues and customers.
Understanding the tendencies of your own personality—as well as those of the ones you work with—is incredibly helpful in building efficient teams.
